Manbir Gulati is a very dedicated problem solver. He is young but works as hard as any adult. He has stayed up late through his school nights just to create programs that would make someone's life better. Even with a full school load and helping his family through health crisis he has maintained his commitment to helping those who need help.

Manbir discovered that many seniors voiced their feelings about being left behind by this technical revolution. They found it hard to get all the information they needed regarding life affecting healthcare choices, financial help, social support, family connections, and jobs. Manbir joined his sister Sukhi and opened a non-profit organiztion to address this problem. Senior Net LLC has their mission which is to empower seniors and never let them feel helpless. He dedicates hours a day to construct instructional lessons, refurbish computers and build a website that will soon provide an interface so easy to use for seniors and so relevant to their needs.

Manbir gave up his entire savings that was set aside for a new computer and used it for helping to start up Senior Net.

Sukhi is a service oriented junior in high school. She has already dedicated over 6 years of service to UNESCO in order to enhance understanding between different cultures. She has deep and abiding respect for diversity and always strives to help empower those who are underserved.

She has joined her brother and opened a non-profit organization geared to help seniors gain computer skills. They provide computers and personal instruction to seniors in order to bring the world to them. They dedicate their time and skills to empower the seniors who might otherwise be left behind.

Sukhi gave up her entire savings which would have helped her buy her first car just so that she and her brother could get their non-profit, senior net llc. , started. Sukhi feels very strongly that many seniors tend to be neglected in this age of technology and that their choices are facing limitations because their access to information is limited. Sukhi's mission is to empower seniors, to make them more informed and protected consumers and also build stronger relationships for them with their families by keeping updated through the internet.
