Back by popular demand, the generous folks at Boyd's Bear Country and Kids Are Heroes are getting together again to host another "Give a Bear, Get a Bear" event as part of Kids Are Heroes Day. Have your kids fund raise to purchase a minimum of two bears at a discounted rate of $25 each to be donated, and Boyd's will give you an additional bear for free to keep or donate. All donated bears will go to Bears on Patrol, a non-profit that gives bears to police departments for officers to distribute them to children in difficult situations. Your child will stuff and dress the donated bears and then move over to the craft room where he/she can then write a personal note and draw pictures for the children who will benefit from them. This is such a heartwarming event you will not want to miss it! And you will teach your kids about giving at the same time!! Please use the sign-up sheet below to reserve a spot! |
